I am not exactly sure just when I did. I've been online for a little over a year and think I stumbled on it in the beginning. I delurked around March 1998.

Afraid I am not original in this thought. I appreciate the discussions, the insights I have gained about spanking, the stories. Through the SSS I have come to learn about spanking and embrace it as a part of my life. It has helped me discover just HOW it fits into my life.

I think my favorite story is the one Bookbabe (Michele) just reposted "Turn out the Light" <did I get the title right?>. I enjoy so many authors. I tend to read only the M/F ones as that is my preference. I am lucky in that I don't squick easily. I admire all authors because I have only written a few stories and most all were short ones because I can't write a long one by myself.

This is difficult, because, in general, I don't read much fiction, and I haven't read *so* many authors. Having said that, MrsMish is my all-time favorite - I just love sensual, loving spankings, liberally laced with humor; and Stranger's stories that include these qualities. "Turning On the Light," by Michele the bookbabe is an individual favorite story, as are others of hers. Spirit is my poet laureate - his talent is truly awe-inspiring. I've always thought maybe I could write a poem as well as the Spirit - the only difference is, I'd need 3 months - he needs about 45 minutes.

Do you play in real life?
Yes! Oui! Si! Ya! Only this year, and it's been incredibly wonderful. Touch is very important to me, especially since I went to massage school. I learned about the body at a cellular level, about neurons firing...the dreaded Kreb cycle --- each molecule looking like a little vast universe...things too amazing to speak of calmly. We had cadavers, which will put one in touch with the glory of life pretty quickly. Subtle or passionate, deliberate, exquisite sensation - touch - when given with love, is one of life's greatest gifts. My biggest fear was proved unfounded - that somehow r/l play would diminish my ability/interest to play with my friends online. No way! I see it all as a kind of (for me) private dance.... hands or words touching bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits.....

I have a fully equipped tack room with only one rule - none of the crops, whips, etc., are to be used on the horses.
