Most things by Benson, Palmer, Michele, Duchin, Stranger, Handler, Spraycan, MissLilyO, Quixotoes, Barrister, Ming, Dr. Simpson, and Old Tom. (who isn't old). Justspirit's poems are great and eagerly read each time they appear. Peach when she's describing a scene with Alex Martelli, and of course anything by Trystilarn whether in story form or not. DLynn can reduce the complex to the simple and Papa who goes the other way. My favorite form of losing myself in the cyberspace of the Assville community is taking part in an AVT thread story line. It is pure childish fantasy and there is an attraction in leaving the real world and playing in the fantasy spaces of brats acting up and pulling off pranks against the more serious minded tops and doms/dommes.

Describe a favorite scene (real or imagined):
This I will have to take my time with and send in later. There will be a beautiful, sensual, witty, but slightly cruel, Chinese female playing the part of "Dragon Lady" who is more than capable of handling a Questing James Bond type character in a hot hot hot scene that goes from more than a tongue lashing to a marathon sexual encounter that would put Tantrik sex to shame for its mildness.

During the winter Quester resides in a penthouse apartment high above Assville in the Rump Towers. There is a treehouse located where Main Street crosses Broadway that use to be the playground of Quester and his parrot friend Claude. It was transplanted into the center of Assville adjacent to the main square next to the redlight by Da Mad Dwarf back during one of the Brat rebellions. It makes a good summer house.

Other comments:
Concerning the care and feeding of trolls and flamers: best to not read and respond their posts. It only encourages them to take over the sss site and make a wasteland of what the normal give and take of on topic communication. Lately many of the regulars have left the group and that is the unfortunate result of engaging in flaming them. Some see this as good sport, but actually it is time wasting and disappointing.

Would you describe yourself as top, bottom or switch?
Switch. When I spank, my enjoyment comes from giving pleasure, from a deeper sense of needing to make people happy, from my sense of community service. When I get spanked, the joy is purely erotic. I love the role play as much as the spanking but I also insist that scenes are discrete events and do not carry over into real life.

When did you first find the newsgroup?
August or September of 1994. I was taught to post by Gaetana and quickly absorbed, with awe, the stories she wrote, along with those of Ginger and Jackrabbit.

What do you appreciate most about SSS?
This community has provided more knowledge and emotion than a set of the Great Books. Yet it is the instantaneous interplay of words and ideas -- the pull of what the next on-line session may bring -- that keeps drawing me in.

It is hard to describe what my travels on America On Line and residence in SSS have given me, but it has made a profound difference in my life. Coming aboard as a curious explorer, I discovered that my fantasies were shared; that I had a latent talent for fiction; that, indeed, I was as good a writer as I might have hoped; that I could bring and receive pleasure in ways I never could before; that the art of conversation is not dead; that this kink IS important to me; that it might require a re-alignment of my personal life; also that it might not.

This group and the private conversations that branch from it were expensive in dollars in the old days of AOL, but much cheaper than therapy and more valuable than a winning lottery ticket. Since by nature I do not make friends easily, this experience has blessed me with a cornucopia of acquaintances and a treasury of kindred souls. Just as important, the deep mutual soul-searching that can occur behind the screen of anonymity has taught me more about human nature and more about myself.

I have met on line hundreds of people who share the love of spanking, and communicating by keyboard has improved my writing, my thinking, and my character (not to mention my libido).

I am partial to the 100+ stories I have written. But others whose stories or posts I try never to miss include, in no particular order: Hope, IrishRed, IrishWinks, Vashti, Duchin, Spirit, KFR, CarolinaJim, Fishface, Koala, Jojasa, Maggie, Cestvrais, Borigrove, Miss Lily, Chorus, Hbrushed, most of Barrister and the vintage stories of Darla. Actually I like just about everything that is written with verve and nerve. I think this question would have been more fun had it asked for your LEAST favorite stories or authors.

Describe a favorite scene (real or imagined)
As a top, I like the scenario of being a dad, big brother, uncle or teacher, spanking a girl of any age in a rather formal situation in which she is at least tacitly consenting because she knows she needs it. As a bottom, I like to imagine being anywhere between 8-12 and getting spanked over the silky thighs of a maternal figure, either mom, aunt or teacher.

To be legally accurate, yes

Are you looking for a partner?
It depends on what the meaning of partner is. For play, yes. Not for the Clintonian definition of nor practice of sex. I like to think of spanking as recreation with an emotional and erotic sizzle.

This is about the fifth time I have delurked or otherwise told too much about myself. I have tried to combine previously posted thoughts that may help explain things. In sum, I should say again that if I pull your pigtails, it means I like you. I am 50 years old according to my birth certificate, but about 18 on the maturity scale, and that is generous. I have had this fetish for as long as I can remember. My first clear memory was of spanking and being spanked by a couple of sisters that lived in the same post-War garden apartment complex when I was about 5. I tried to hide my proclivities as a child, even while reading everything possible containing the word "spanking" and cringing whenever the subject actually came up in conversation, threats or television shows. I was never spanked as a child and really never at all until I was well into adulthood.

I was able to practice spanking with some girls I dated, and none of them called the cops or their parents, but I was always careful to go slowly. It is good advice. My wife has accommodated my tastes from the beginning but she remains vanilla, though she would never think so. The play in which I have engaged has been thrilling, to say the least, and, interestingly, I think I have met as many people from cyberspace who are not active members of this community as who are.

It's my home in cyberspace and the folks are great. At first I just read the stories. Gradually I started following other threads and realized what a fine community Assville actually was. This place is more than a NG, to me at least. Lastly, it's always here when I need it.
